Bartholdi museum

The Musée Bartholdi is entirely dedicated to Auguste Bartholdi (1834–1904), the sculptor behind New York’s famous Statue of Liberty. Situated in Colmar in the house where he was born, the museum opens its doors so you can admire the many works, statues, and models of monuments conceived by Auguste Bartholdi as well as discover the sense of liberty that is reflected in the artist’s furnishings and personal keepsakes.
