Gasthaus Zum Storchen

The Gasthaus Zum Storchen in Bad Krozingen is an inn that dates back to the 18th century and once served as a favorite stop for pilgrims. Today, this former village inn has transformed into a gourmet restaurant that was awarded a Michelin star in 2001.

Managers Annemarie and Fritz Helfesrieder have run the restaurant since 1976, whose kitchen is headed by not one, but two chefs: Fritz and Jochen Helfesrieder. Father and son share the belief that healthy, fresh, and – when possible – regional products are the foundation of every great cuisine and best complemented wild-caught fish and high-quality, international products.

Sophisticated fish dishes and regional specialties with a twist are characteristic of the cuisine served at Gasthaus Zum Storchen. Famous wines from Bordeaux and Italy along with a selection of regional wines round out this delightful culinary experience.
