Created in 1619, the University of Strasbourg’s Botanical Gardens are a true green oasis in the city center. They comprise more than 6,000 species of plant, including rare or remarkable specimens, across 3.5 hectares. Throughout the year, exhibitions, activities, and other cultural events are run to teach children and adults alike about the natural world.
