The feudal estate towering majestically above the landscape with its castle, vegetable and pleasure garden, vineyard, forest, farm and ancillary buildings has been maintained in a unique state of preservation. Visitors can explore the life and times of the noble Effinger family in all its diversity - from elegant styles of interior furnishing through to the production of agricultural crops. Wildegg Castle has been in the possession of the canton of Aargau since 2011.
