Also known as the “Eye of Alsace”, the Haut-Barr castle offers a great view of the entire region and the Vosges Mountains.
Built in the 12th century, it rises above three large boulders connected by the “Devil’s Bridge”. Thanks to its altitude of 470 meters, it offers an impregnable view over the Alsatian plain and on a clear day even as far as to the Strasbourg Cathedral. Guided group tours are available upon prior registration.
